Calah Hudson, MA, LPC, LCDC, NCC
Calah has a heart for helping others process emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a way that brings about positive change and personal growth. She is passionate about coming alongside others and helping them grow in confidence, joy, and capability.
Calah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and her Master’s in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. She has worked with individuals and families on the topics of stress and self-regulation, communication skills, coping challenges, family dynamics, parenting, marriage, addiction, life transitions, and difficult life experiences.
Drawing from personal and professional experience, she uses an eclectic approach informed by CBT and helps clients assess their own values, beliefs, and experiences to gain skills for success. Calah’s professional work, along with her own experiences in family, friendships, marriage, motherhood, and faith, allows her to relate to a wide range of relationship and life topics. She helps clients improve interpersonal relationships, develop effective coping skills, and reach personal goals. One step at a time – one day at a time.
When she’s not at the office, you will likely find Calah at home (reading a good book or doing laundry!) or volunteering at the school where her daughters attend. Her main love is her family – her husband and two daughters. Together, they love to travel and spend time outdoors (especially at national parks)! She considers life’s simple pleasures some of the very best: warm cookies, family movie nights, Harney & Sons Paris tea, Christmastime, fuzzy socks, and family celebrations.
